Who we are
Kin Club is a trading name of Agdon House Limited, Agdon House, 25 Agdon Street, London EC1V 0AZ. We decide how your personal data is used, which makes us the data controller under UK data protection law. Questions about your data go to kinclub@tiagi.com.
What we collect
When you apply for a place, we collect what you choose to tell us: your name, email, phone number, Instagram and LinkedIn, company, industry and role, where you are based, how old your children are, what you are focused on, who you would like to meet, why you should be in the room, what you would bring to it, your “Ask me about” line and how you heard about us. If you tick the box for news and updates, we keep a record of that too. If you book childcare, we also ask for your children's names and any allergies or medical needs.
Why we use it
To review your application and decide which room is right for you. To contact you about your application, invitations and the rooms you attend. To plan each room, including introductions and name tags. To send you news and updates, only if you have asked for them.
Our legal basis
We review applications and contact you about rooms because we have a legitimate interest in running curated events, and you have asked to be considered. We send news and updates on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. If you book childcare, we collect your children's allergies and medical needs only with your explicit consent, so they can be cared for safely.
Who sees it
Your details are seen by the Kin Club team. We never share or sell them to brand partners or anyone else for their own use. If you are invited, your first name and “Ask me about” line appear on your name tag, so other guests in the room will see them. If you book childcare, we share your children's names and any allergies or medical needs with Tinies, our childcare partner, so they can care for your children safely. Tinies may also ask you to fill in their own form on site.
Where it is stored
Your application is held on Squarespace, which runs our website and forms, and in our own Google and email accounts. These providers store data on our behalf and may hold it outside the UK. Where they do, they rely on safeguards recognised under UK law.
How long we keep it
We keep applications for 24 months from our last contact with you, then delete them. If you sign up for news and updates, we keep your email until you unsubscribe. If you book childcare, we delete your children's details once the room has taken place.
Your rights
You can ask us to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, limit how we use it or send it to you in a portable format. You can also object to how we use it. Email kinclub@tiagi.com and we will reply within one month.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to work properly and to understand how people use it. You can accept or decline non essential cookies through the banner when you first visit.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please tell us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
